Our Programs and Projects
Recycling
We have 5 recycling trailers located at Pershing Elementary, Morton Elementary, Sandoz Elementary, Lexington High School and Lexington Middle School which collect Paper, plastic and cardboard, LMS also collects Aluminum.
We also have roll offs located at the Service Building (Glenn Hawks Service Building). Which collects Cardboard and Plastic only Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
Summer Clean Up
We do a Summer Clean up that coincides with Keep America Beautiful called "Great America Clean up". This runs from April 1st.- September 30th. Any one can participate but to get paid it has to be a church group, organization, youth group etc. But we do try and have as many clean ups monthly through out the year as long as weather is good.
After School Program
We work with the Schools, partner with After School program. We work with Elementary and Middle School this is Monday - Thursday year round and in the summer we do month long classes. We do hope to have a Environmental Club at the High School Next year, still in the works.
